An Inconvenient Sequel
Screening and presentation with Climate Reality Leaders Ginny Colling and Deb Pearson

Join us for a free screening of Al Gore's documentary 'An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power'. Ginny and Deb have both completed the Climate Reality Leadership training program with Al Gore and are certified to deliver his presentation. They will provide an introduction to the film and will offer a Q & A session after the screening.

Zoomer Tech Club

Our Zoomer Tech Club is and excellent group for seniors who want to learn at their own pace and socialize a bit at the same time. It also provides a great opportunity to help others by trading technology tips and tricks.

Brain Waves Café
We have partnered with Alzheimer Society of Durham Region to bring a new program to the library to support individuals with cognitive (memory) change and their families and caregivers.

Brain Waves Café—A social and informal place for individuals with cognitive (memory) change to meet together socially in the community for stimulating conversation, support and other engaging activities. Friends and family welcome. Light refreshments available.

When: The fourth Thursday of each month, 1-2:30 pm

North Durham Nature
Polar Bears of Ontario's North Shore
The Hudson Bay shor is home to the world's most southern population of polar bears. Dr. Martyn Obbard is a recently retired research biologist with Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources and an adjunct professor at Trent University who has been studying these bears for the past 25 years.
