New! Knitting Classes Begin on March 28th

Get your knit on with our new Sunday Knitting Classes.
Have you always wanted to learn how to knit? Join Carol McGavin, owner of Port Perry's own "Never Enough Wool" shop for six Sunday afternoons that will get you started in this wonderful hobby that is both creative and relaxing. Classes will begin on March 28th and run every other week for 12 weeks (6 sessions).
When: Every other Sunday: March 28th, April 11th, April 25th, May 9th, May 23rd and June 6th from 2 pm to 4 pm. Time: 2pm to 4 pm Cost: $10 for all six sessions

The divergent paths of three forty-something siblings collide when their mother, heiress to her uncle's exceptional 19th century art collection, dies suddenly. New Moon DVD Release Party for Teens!

Join us on the DVD release date for a special screening of New Moon!
It doesn't matter whether you're on Team Edward or Team Jacob, you'll have a blast at our New Moon DVD Release Party! Join us after-hours on the last Saturday of March Break. We'll have a screening of the film, tons of snacks and chances to win some fabulous prizes like New Moon posters, books and even a copy of the DVD!
When: Saturday, March 20th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm
Tickets are $4.00 each which includes admission and snacks. Tickets go on Sale March 8th. Film is rated PG. Spaces are limited, so get your tickets early!

Get Creative! Digital Photography Workshop with a Professional Photographer Join Jonathan van Bilsen, a professional photographer and founder of the North Durham Photography Association for this series of three workshops. We'll learn all about taking all kinds of photos & the cool things you can do with digital photography. As an added bonus, you'll choose 2 of your best prints to be displayed in the Kent Farndale Gallery in April! Spaces are limited, so register early. For 8 to 12 year olds. When: Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday March 16th-18th Time: 10 am to 12 pm (you must register for all three sessions).
$10 Materials Fee for gallery prints (you get to keep them once your exhibition is over!). Bring a digital camera if you have one.
Beaded Bracelet Workshop Create a one of a kind piece of jewelry using beads and wire. For ages 8 and up. When: Thursday, March 18th, 2:30-4 pm. Free!
Build a Bookmark Workshop It's more fun to read when you've got a super-cool bookmark to use! Using awesome patterned paper and images from magazines, you'll create a collage that you'll transform into a great looking bookmark.
If you want to personalize your bookmark, bring along pictures-of friends, family, pets, etc.-to include in your creation! Top it all off with a beaded ribbon and you've got a great gift (but you'll probably want to keep it for yourself!) For ages 6 and up.

L.O.L! Writing your own Silly Stories Join us for a writing workshop that will exercise your brain and tickle your funny bone! We'll look at some of the best funny books out there and you'll learn some tips to get you started writing your own comedic masterpiece! For ages 10 and up.
