New! Travelogues
Join us the first Tuesday of each month for a lecture series on world travel!
Tuesday, February  4th at 2 pm - Jonathan van Bilsen
Travel the world with Jonathan van Bilsen, right here at the library. Photographer and world traveller Jonathan van Bilsen, has visited 88 countries and has written and photographed many different aspects of their culture, geography and beautiful sights. He has published 9 books and writes columns for Focus Magazine and CAPS Newspapers.
We begin our travelogue lecture series with Jonathan giving us an amusing overview of several of the most interesting locales he has visited. Through beautiful photographs, humourous anecdotes and real life adventures, we will be whisked away around the world from Alaska to Cambodia, from India to New Zealand.

Join Judy Bodner as she shares her exciting travel experiences in her presentation on "Hostelling as a Zoomer in the Southern Hemisphere".

NEW! Zoomer Tech Club
Come in on Saturdays from 2-4 to talk about technology and get encouragement from your peers.  Sit down with your iPad, tablet or laptop and share tricks and tips that you have learned.  For one hour we will have a library staff member sit in with you to help troubleshoot computer problems.

When: Every Saturday in March from 2pm-4pm

This is a drop-in program and pre-registration is not required.
March Break @ the Library

We're planning a great line up of activities for all ages during March Break, which runs from March 10th to 14th. We'll be bringing back some of our favourite March Break programs from the past few years and adding some new options as well.

NEW! Early Years Music & Movement
Ontario Early Years presents music & movement for ages 0-6! 
We're proud to be hosting this great new 5 week program for children aged 0-6 and their parents or caregivers.  This hour long program of songs, games and movement, presented by a staff member from the Ontario Early Years Center,  will provide a fun, music-based activity for little ones.  Shake, rattle and roll away the winter blahs!

When: Monday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, from January 13th to February 10th

Learn how to use the Library's OverDrive service to download ebooks and audiobooks to your smartphone, tablet, wireless e-reader, or other wireless device.

Ebooks for E-Readers

We'll show you how to download and transfer ebooks from the Library's OverDrive service to your computer and your supported e-reader. We will also cover setting up and using Adobe Digital Editions software.
