Summer Reading Club 2012

Get ready for another summer of fun with the TD Summer Reading Club!

Summer Reading Club is easy to participate in. Just sign up, read for the fun of it, talk to us about the books you are reading and enter to win some great prizes! You'll get a copy of the great "IMAGINE!" poster when you sign up and you can collect stickers all summer long by visiting the library!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join the Summer Reading Club?

Summer Reading Club Registration starts on June 28th, but you can sign up anytime after that as well. Just visit us here at the Library to register and get your free poster and booklet.

How much does the Summer Reading Club cost?

The Summer Reading Club is absolutely free, thanks to financial support from the TD bank!

When does the Summer Reading Club take place?

You can participate any time the library is open. Just bring your books to the reporting station and tell us about what you've been reading.   You can earn stickers for your poster and enter to win some great prizes! We'll also be offering weekly meetings and Summer Reading Club programs throughout July and August. Check out the Library's website or the Summer newsletter (available mid-June) for dates and times!

If someone can't read yet, can they still join?

Yes! Preschoolers are welcome to join in the fun. Good listening counts and helps to develop literacy skills. Pre-readers can go to the reporting station to tell us about stories that have been read to them or they can earn stickers by participating in the preschool storytime programs that we'll be offering at the Library this summer. Check out our July/August newsletter for the summer story-time schedule.
