Our friends at Tumblebooks have opened access to additional databases for out patrons for free until August 31st, 2020. Check out some of these great resources for readers of all ages! NOTE: No login is required for these databases, but you do have to reach it from our website by clicking these links each time – you won’t be able to bookmark it.
- TumbleBookLibrary – (pre-K-6) animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love. They are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sounds, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book (and some classics) which you can read, or have read to you. The language drop-down menu allows you to view the site in French and Spanish, instead of English.
- TumbleMath – (Gr K-6) a comprehensive collection of math eBooks designed for students. The eBooks combine animation, narration and sound to create stories and teach math concepts. They are accompanied by supplementary materials such as lesson plans, instructional videos, educational games and quizzes to test and track student progress. Designed for students of all ages, TumbleMath allows students to learn at their own pace and gives them the ability to take ownership over their learning.
- TeenBookCloud – (Gr 7-12) an online collection of eBooks, enhanced novels, graphic novels, videos, and audiobooks, which offers students and adults of all reading levels access to an amazing range of content.
- AudioBookCloud – (All ages) stream unlimited e-audiobooks through your web browser on most computers and portable devices.
- RomanceBookCloud – (Adults) provides unlimited access to a curated collection of romance ebooks including contemporary, historical, time travel, paranormal and inspirational titles. Includes a core collection of 1800 titles, including award winners and best sellers, plus new books added all the time.
